As previously announced on 30 June 2020, the Supervisory Board of AS “Citadele banka” has appointed Johan Akerblom as Chairman of the Management Board and CEO. On 8 October 2020 the appointment has been approved by the Financial and Capital Market Commission.
Johan Akerblom, who has more than 13 years of experience in financial sector, joined Citadele two years ago as Chief Financial Officer and has since successfully supported the Group’s strategic development and financial performance. Mr. Akerblom was appointed as acting Chairman of the Management Board as of 2 March 2020. Johan Akerblom does not hold any shares in AS “Citadele banka”.
