Citadele completely rebuilds and redesigns Mobile app, delivering better user experience and new features

Citadele completes third major rebuild of Citadele mobile app, and the update is now available to Citadele clients. The new version has been built from scratch, delivering better user experience, accessibility and adding new features. The updated app environment will allow Citadele to further develop and add new innovative features. In this release the new features are – request to pay, verified calls from chat and default account management.

In 2016 Citadele launched its first mobile app, showing how banking can be done comfortably from any mobile device. In 2018 came the new Mobile app 2.0 that enabled Touch and Face ID thus paving the way to the range of big things – opening an account remotely with a selfie in the mobile app, instant credit, ultimate payment experience – paying with few clicks, payments with the phone, invoice scanning, digital wallet (ApplePay and GooglePay) integration. Now we launch Mobile App 3.0, which is the next big step not only because it offers the best user experience in the market, but also because it will serve as a platform for next generation services focusing on personalization trend that will be continuously added to Citadele mobile app in the future.

One of the features in the new app is verified calls from app which can increase customer satisfaction and prevent financial fraud cases, because customers have one trusted channel where they can get in touch with the bank. As the client is already verified in the app, no time is wasted with identification and the client also is sure that the private information e.g. personal ID number has not been released to wrong parties. 

The app update will be available to all customers in the Apple Store and Google Play store within a week.
