Changes to Term Deposit acceptance and service terms

We are always aiming to improve the services we offer our clients. As they develop, their regulatory terms and conditions also change. Significant changes to the terms of our Term Deposits will come into force on June 26th, 2020 for new deposits, and on August 26th, 2020 for existing deposits. The terms will now include all information regarding tariffs and commission fees for service.

Bearing in mind the significant reduction in client cash transactions and the development of Citadele's digital services, Term Deposits will now only be disbursed to the client by transfer - it will no longer be possible to withdraw the Term Deposit funds in cash after the maturity date.

Please familiarise yourself with the new terms of the Term Deposits on our website under Client Support > Terms and Conditions. At the same time, we remind you that existing depositors have the right to cancel their service contract in accordance with the procedures stated in the terms, if they find the changes to be unacceptable.
