Reinis Nitišs, world-class rallycross driver from Jēkabpils, has signed a cooperation agreement with Citadele. Reinis Nitišs gives Citadele the rights to use his name and image in public bank communications and advertisements.
Reinis Nitišs: “Cooperation with Citadele is an important step to compete at the highest level in the FIA World Rallycross Championship. This year I will participate in last year’s championship-winning team, and I am happy that I can do this with support from Latvian businesses. I am proud to join Citadele’s group of athletes, and I know that by working together our path to higher goals is much more achievable.”
Bank Citadele Chairman of the Board Guntis Beļavskis: “Reinis symbolises all the best aspects of Latvia’s identity - bravery, conviction, and the ability to focus on a goal. We are inspired by everything through which we, tiny Latvia, show ourselves off to the wider world. This cooperation is one of the special projects where we can demonstrate our goal - to carry Latvia’s name out into the world and show everyone how special Latvia is. Working with athletes like Reinis is a colossal motivation and joy. Now 1600 Citadele employees will be crossing their fingers for Reinis’ success. I believe that this will provide at least a few extra meters advantage over his competitors in the final straight!”
